GSM Summer 2024 Field TripJuly 26th – 28thIslesboro and eastern Penobscot Bay, ME

This summer we are taking an exciting field trip to the shores of Penobscot Bay on Saturday, July 27-28. The first day we will explore the geology of Isleboro and the second day we will visit the old Callahan Mine on the Cape Rosier peninsula and glacial/environmental geology highlights in eastern Penobscot Bay.

Camping is available Friday and Saturday nights at Camden Hills State Park. Saturday night dinner is included in the registration. Anyone can participate, but your membership must be up to date to register (this is an option on the registration form).

Registration deadline is July 19th.
